| Jeff
Krehbiel – Principal
As principal and sole owner of Krehbiel Architecture,
Jeff has more than thirty years of experience in all aspects of project
planning, management and design. He is involved in the design and
review of all projects drawings; he actively participates in client
meetings, and is responsible for the overall supervision of the firm.
Jeff has built a design team with a national reputation in the architectural
industry.
Jeff is a 1968 graduate of Kansas State University
with a Bachelor of Architecture. He is a member of the American Institute
of Architects and is National Council of Architectural Registration
Boards certified. Jeff is licensed in the following states: Arizona,
California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas,
Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey,
New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia,
Washington and Wisconsin.
John Youle – Project Manager
John has over thirty years of experience in architecture
and has worked on a variety of different project types. John is recognized
as a problem solver with the ability to visualize and communicate
solutions and implement ideas in a successful design statement. As
project manager, his primary responsibilities include coordination
of the design team, conformance with design criteria, and management
of design.
John attended the University of Kansas and Wichita
State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1968. He is a member
of the American Institute of Architects and became a licensed architect
in the State of Kansas in 1980.
David Parrish – Project Manager
David has more than twenty years of experience managing
projects at diverse locations nationwide. He strives to create innovative
and timeless solutions for the firm’s projects while staying
on schedule and within budget. As project manager his primary responsibilities
include coordination of the design team, conformance with design criteria,
and management of design.
David is a 1990 graduate of Kansas State University
with a Bachelor of Architecture. He is a member of the American Institute
of Architects and is National Council of Architectural Registration
Boards certified. He is licensed in the state of Kansas.
Gerald Starr – Architect
Gerald has more than thirty years of professional
experience providing architectural services. He adds value to our
team by bringing established design techniques, years of accurate
estimating experience, and a record of cost saving, all with the intent
to deliver a finished project that exceeds our clients’ expectations.
Gerald’s responsibilities as project architect include structural
coordination, general detailing, drafting and design. He has served
as project architect for a variety of design efforts.
Gerald is a 1971 graduate of Kansas State University
with a Bachelor of Architecture. He is a member of the American Institute
of Architects and is National Council of Architectural Registration
Boards certified. He is a licensed architect in the State of Kansas.
Paul Greg Black – Senior Interior
Designer
With more than twenty years of experience, Greg
offers a comprehensive knowledge when coordinating interior design
and finishes. He has extensive knowledge of interior space design
for diverse project types resulting in improved user flow and circulation
patterns, reduced labor costs, and maximized space utilization. His
professional portfolio includes all aspects of interior architecture
and design including space planning, programming, custom artwork,
administration of furniture, fixtures and equipment installations,
furniture specifications and signage. He directs the interior design
efforts of the team, and participates in the coordination and design
of the majority of the firm’s projects.
Greg is a 1980 graduate of Oklahoma State University
with a Bachelor of interior Architecture. He is a member of the National
Historic Preservation Society.
Jim Pope –
Architect
Jim has more than thirty years of experience with
architecture. As a project architect, he is involved with projects
from start to finish, overseeing all production.
Jim is a 1969 graduate of Kansas State University
with a Bachelor of Architecture. He is a member of the American Institute
of Architects and National Council of Architectural Registration Boards
certified. He is a licensed architect in the State of Kansas.
William Potenski – Architect
Bill has been practicing architecture for more than
30 years with a broad range of experience in the development of contract
documents, construction administration, code review and construction
material specifications. Projects have included facilities throughout
the nation in the educational, industrial, governmental, retail and
hospitality sectors.
Bill is a 1968 graduate of Kansas State University
with a Bachelor of Architecture. He is a member of the American Institute
of Architects and Construction Specification Institute and is National
Council of Architectural Registration Boards certified. He is a licensed
architect in the State of Kansas.
Dustin Randolph – Landscape Architect
Dustin has more than ten years of design experience on projects nationwide. As a Landscape Architect his primary responsibilities include land planning, site planning, landscape design, construction documentation and construction administration. He has a strong understanding of the natural and built environment. Dustin is known for listening to clients and understanding their needs on a project. His professional portfolio includes projects within the aircraft industry, banking, retail, medical, and parks and recreation.
Dustin is a 1998 graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a Horticultural Minor. He is a member of the American society of Landscape Architects. He is licensed in the State of Kansas.
Suja Mathew – Associate
Suja has more than fifteen years of experience in
the architectural industry. Her primary responsibilities include assisting
the project managers throughout different phases of projects, schematic
design development through construction documents.
Suja is a 1991 graduate of Maulana Azad Regional
Engineering College, University of Bhopal, India with a Bachelor of
Architecture. She then received her Masters of Architecture from Kansas
State University in 1994. She is a member of the Indian Institute
of Architects and an associate with the American Institute of Architects.
Bethany Thimesch – Associate
Bethany is an associate architect at Krehbiel Architecture.
With her commitment to her projects she helps to see them all the
way from initial design through construction documents. She has been
involved in design, presentation, material research, consultant coordination,
design development and construction documents on a wide range of project
types.
Bethany is a 2005 graduate of Kansas State University
with a Bachelor of Architecture, is National
Council of Architectural Registration Boards certified and is an associate with the American
Institute of Architects.
David Hildebrandt –
Associate
David is a graduate architect and a new addition to Krehbiel Architecture. His focus is currently on construction documents, but is also working on design development through schematic design.
David is a 2008 graduate of Kansas State University
with a Masters of Architecture. He is also an associate with the American
Institute of Architects and is Nathional Council of Architectural Registration Boards certified.
Heather Jabara – Interior Designer
Heather has experience
in space allocation, furniture specs, finish and color selections,
furniture layouts and schematic design, She is very organized, and fantastic with time management. This hard working girl brings so much energy to the design team at Krehbiel Architecture.
Heather is a 2005 graduate of Kansas State University
with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design and is currently the Vice
President of Membership for the Mid America Chapter of the International
Interior Design Association.
Jordan Essenburg – Interior Designer
Jordan brings new and fresh ideas to the interior design group at Krehbiel Architecture. With young creative design and innovative ideas, we look forward to her involvement with the team linking architecture to interior design.
Jordan is a 2007 graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design and is currently a member of the International Interior Design Association.
Jennifer Unrein – Interiors
Jennifer has returned Krehbiel after she interned here for a semester a year ago. She now has traveled the world and is a graduate Interior Architect and we are excited to have her back! With everything she learned and worked on a year ago, she was able to jump right back in...making things beautiful through interior design.
Jennifer graduated with a Masters of Interior Architecture degree from Kansas State University. Jennifer is currently a member of the International Interior Design Association.
Benjamin Carroll – Draftsman
Ben has almost ten years of experience with AutoCAD
and other computer programs. Ben helps to keep Krehbiel Architecture
on the cutting edge of technology for design. He is not only responsible
for the vast majority of our IT needs, he also spends most of his
time with construction documents and the development of computer generated
preliminaries.
Ben completed a computer Aided Drafting program
at the Wichita Area Technical College.
